Certification Courses with Nitrox

There are many reasons that you should get certified as a Nitrox diver. Nitrox diving gives you the opportunity to feel the thrill of enriched water. You will also feel more confident diving. There are many organizations that offer certification courses. There are many certification courses: NAUI Enriched Air Nix Diver, PADI Enriched Air Diver; SSI Adventure Diver; and Open Water Diver.

PADI Enriched Air Diver

PADI Enriched Air Diver Certification (EANx), is for those divers who wish to increase the bottom time of their dives. It includes a short classroom session as well as home study. The EANx course includes learning about oxygen content in the scuba tank, how to use a scuba oxygen analyzer, and standard procedures for recording the percentage of oxygen in the tank.

Nitrox enriched air divers are able to extend the time they can stay underwater without having to make frequent stops. The air mix has a lower amount of nitrogen, which gives them a greater safety margin. In addition, enriched air mixes usually have 32% or 36% oxygen, making them ideal for shallower dives.

NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver

If you want to improve your diving, an enriched air diver certification will help you get there. This course will teach you how to blend air and the dangers associated with high oxygen levels. A dive computer will be used to analyze your tanks and you'll also learn how it works. You'll also learn the Equivalent Air Depthance and how to use a standard dive table. Also, you'll learn about common blending processes for nitrogen/oxygen.

Nitrox is an enhanced form of oxygen, or enriched air. It's a type o breathing gas that has more oxygen than regular air. You can stay underwater for longer periods of time without having to refill your tank. This is beneficial for your health because it relieves decompression fatigue. Also, enriched divers have shorter surface intervals.

SSI Adventure Diver

SSI, an internationally recognized dive organization, offers the SSI Adventure Diver Nitrox Certification. This certification requires experience, knowledge, as well as skills. This certification requires you to have completed at least 50 dives or four specialty courses.

The SSI Adventure Diver nitrox course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to dive in limited visibility. It teaches divers to navigate in the dark, use specialized equipment, and communicate with a dive buddy. After completing this course, they will be eligible to apply for the SSI Nitrox Specialty certification.

SSI Open Water Diver

The SSI Open Water Diver certification is internationally recognized. It includes three parts: academic, in-water pool training and multiple open-water diving. During this course, you will learn how to plan and dive using enriched air mixes up to 40% oxygen. This can increase your bottom speed and decrease your surface time. It also helps you avoid decompression syndrome.

PADI and SSI have different certification procedures. PADI certification requires you to buy your manual. An SSI certification does not require you to purchase your manual. Your card is issued directly from the dive centre where you completed your course. PADI certification centers might also provide temporary cards that can be used as proof of certification.
