PADI Enriched Air Diver
PADI Enriched Air Diver (EANx), certification is for divers who want to increase their bottom time. The course includes a short classroom session and home study. The EANx course teaches the basics of how to record the percentage of oxygen in a scuba tank.
Nitrox enriched air divers are able to extend the time they can stay underwater without having to make frequent stops. Because there is less nitrogen in the air mixture, they are safer. Additionally, enriched air mixtures usually contain 32% to 36% oxygen which makes them suitable for diving at shallow depths.
NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
An enriched-air diver certification is a good step towards taking your diving to the next level. An SSI certification allows you to receive your card at the dive center where your course was completed. PADI certification centers may also offer temporary cards that you can use as proof of your certification.
