
TDI Extended Rang is a specialty course intended for divers who do not have easy access to Trimix. It emphasizes skills development, solid procedures, and diver responses to situations. Students will learn to use up two decompression gases, and how to safely dive in an Extended Range environment. TDI Extended Range training divers can be done with nitrox or air.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens doors to new dive sites. This certification allows divers to enjoy more bottom time and can be extended to up to 60m/200ft. Extended Range training is also available via eLearning. TDI eLearning is available online if you cannot find a dive shop in your area. This course will inform you about the benefits and advantages of extended range dives.
The Extended Range course will allow you to dive in more challenging locations and decrease your nitrogen narcosis. You'll learn how to plan and execute stage decompression dives by using up to two stage bottles and enriched air or oxygen. You can also combine the Extended Range course with TDI Trimix Diver certification.
TDI Trimix training will prepare you for advanced diving and allows you to dive up to 60 meters in normoxic conditions. TDI Trimix training focuses primarily on safety and skill improvement, since any problems at this level must be resolved quickly. To achieve this, divers need to feel at ease with procedures that will help prevent complications.
