There are many options for advanced technical dive certifications. TDI has Intro to Tech, Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures. PADI has Tec Trimix & Deep Diver courses. The TDI Advanced Nitrox course introduces advanced diving techniques for recreational Nitrox divers. The course covers equipment usage, gas switching, and advanced emergency techniques, such as lift bag deployment. You can find more information on the TDI site.
TDI Introto Tech Course
The TDI Intro to Tech is a standalone training program that allows you to expand your recreational training and learn more advanced technical skills. It can also be used as a gateway to TDI’s more advanced courses, like Advanced Nitrox (Decompression Procedures) and Advanced Nitrox (Decompression Procedures). You can also use it to refresh those who have previously taken technical courses. During the course technical instructors from TDI will evaluate your skills.
The TDI Intro to Tech course can be used by divers who haven't dived before with twin cylinders and a wing. It also covers advanced gas management and buoyancy control. Students will also gain situational awareness as well as trim skills. The course can either be taken in the open cenotes of the ocean or in areas that have similar swimming pool conditions. Advanced gas planning techniques are also taught. This course will improve your open water diving skills as well as introduce you to technical equipment configurations. Advanced gas planning techniques will be taught. This course is not for decompression, but you can use enriched air-nitrox mixtures during it.

Course TDI Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures
TDI Advanced Nitrox & Deco Procedures Courses prepare divers to perform accelerated and staged compression. During this course, students learn advanced gas planning and management techniques to ensure that their dives are as safe as possible. Students also learn how they manage their equipment and plan to handle any unexpected events. A TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Methods course includes four dives that can reach a maximum depth to 40 meters (130 ft).
This course can be taken separately or as part a certification in Advanced Nitrox or Decompression Procedures. Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures courses are performance-based, lasting four days. Six dives are required, with two below 30m. Students complete the course according to their experience and personal requirements. This course prepares students in advanced technical diving.
PADI Tec Trimix course
PADI Tec Trimix90 is the final stage in the PADI Technical Diver circuit. This certification opens up the possibility to go deeper into the ocean and discover places no one else has. This course is not suitable for tec divers with extensive experience who want to expand their range and explore deeper underwater environments. In order to be certified in trimix diving, you must have a valid diver license and have undergone a medical examination. For this certification, you need two 30cf stage bottles and a face mask.
PADI Tec Trimix 65 requires that the diver have logged at minimum 350 dives. The course also focuses on technical diving techniques and protocols. The course also includes multiple teaching scenarios. It is considered the most advanced course in technical dive certification. The requirements for this course are higher than the PADI Tec Diver course.

PADI Tec Deep Diver course
PADI Tec deep diver certification is for recreational divers. This certification includes four dives. It also covers safety stops and descents. You will also learn to use technical diving equipment like a side-mounted cylinder, EANx and EANx. Learn how to plan deep diving and manage your gas supplies. You can take lessons online or offline with the PADI Tec eLearning Program.
This program is two years long, unlike the PADI courses. First, you must be certified by Tec 50 from an approved organization. The certification must include technical deep diving, pure oxygen diving, and decompression diving to 50 metres. The Tec Deep Instructor course is also offered by the PADI Course Directors. Upon completion, the PADI Instructor Course Director will issue a Tec Deep Diver Certification.
