It focuses solely on typology

Typology is the study of how different types of people behave in a variety of situations. The TDI training is designed to develop individuals' understanding of how their type characteristics impact their behavior in specific situations. It is important to note that a person's type is not a fixed trait that can't be changed.

There are many types and combinations of personalities. The personality inventory is a tool that will help you determine your personality type, but it does not have predictive power. The result is often unrelated to a person's actual life circumstances.

It focuses primarily on Jungian psychology

Jungian psychology refers to archetypal psychology which emphasizes creativity. This field includes a broad range of theories and practices that provide tools for addressing common problems throughout history. Through this approach, TDI training focuses on Jungian concepts and their application to human behavior.

Jungian therapy emphasizes religion, but it is not mandatory. Carl Jung encouraged his patients to find meaning and purpose in their religious beliefs, although many of the major religions today are less relevant. Jung emphasized finding one's own source of meaning in a broader perspective, which often involves finding balance in many aspects of the personality.
