Pre-requisites

Requirements
The Emergency First Response Training builds confidence and prepares participants in helping others in an emergency. Upon successful completion of the EFRI program, students are eligible to sit for the PADI Instructor Examination. Each course in the EFRI Program begins with the prefix EFRI. It is numbered sequentially. Each course lasts for one hour. It includes 55 minutes class time and five minute breaks.
Refresher course
For people looking to improve their skills, the EFR Refresher Course was created. This course includes two parts: a Skill Building session and an Exam. EFR refresher is optional but highly recommended by the EFR Instructor Guide. During the refresher course, you will learn the latest developments in the field of first aid and CPR. Additionally, you will learn how to use an AED. You will also learn how you can instruct others to perform these skills when needed.
