Gas leak at UI Ice Arena
Following a leak at its ice rink, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has sent out an Illini-Alert. The building, at 406 E. Armory Ave. in Chicago, was evacuated after Ameren Illinois crews found a leak. To stop further contamination, firefighters closed a sideway that leads to the arena. It is believed the leak came from underneath the building.
