A dive master is a professional who enables others to go underwater by leading recreational and organised dives. Dive master certification is required in many countries for divers who have to be a supervisor or guide. It is not possible for everyone to become a diving master. A job description for a dive master

Instructors and supervisors of diving techniques teach and supervise in open water or swimming pools. They also supervise activities that are not related to training, such as navigation exercises. Open water instructors will lead students on the tour portion of the dives. These include the navigation exercise, and the surface swim portion. The job description of a dive instructor may also include directing certified divers through a scuba review course. The legal responsibility of dive instructors varies from country to country. Some countries exempt diving instructors from legal responsibility if they sign a waiver.
Certification requirements
If you'd like to work as a dive master, you'll need to complete a course to learn the skills you need to be a successful Divemaster. The Divemaster course covers everything you need to know about managing divers, setting up dive sites, managing diver flows and finding the right flow for diving. In addition, candidates must have a minimum of 60 logged dives. Divemasters are able to assist new divers in their theory and skills through teaching them.
In addition to taking courses, Dive masters must pass a two-part examination. Each part must be scored at least 75% to pass the exam. For the exam, candidates will use the PADI Instructor Manual and the eRDPML. Students also need to prepare an emergency assistance plan and complete five waterskills exercises. The total scores must not exceed fifteen. After completion of the course, divers must obtain certification.
Internship requirement
You have many internship options for becoming a Divemaster. You may be asked to assist in other PADI Courses, or even set up dive sites. As a skill circuit assistant, you may be required. However, the internship will have a set pattern. An average internship lasts eight weeks. You may also become an Advanced Open Water Diver during this time. After four to five weeks of training, it is possible to become a Divemaster, Dive Guide, or Divemaster.
In addition to the paid internships, you may find a free internship option for a Dive master. Although it is not the most ideal option, you will be able to spend a lot of time studying and getting advice from a divemaster. Additionally, you may be able to receive the necessary manuals, certification, and equipment as part of your internship.
