Darth Vader DACOR regulator
The DACOR regulator in Darth Vader was reportedly created by the same firm that created the scuba regulations used by Star Wars droids. While this may seem strange, it is the most accurate depiction of the regulator used by Darth Vader in the films. The regulator was actually manufactured by Dacor, one the five original manufacturers of diving gear in America. Mares is now part Dacor.
