Visit the Illini Union's RSO Office in Room 284 to make a reservation. Remember to include a list with names and contact information when you reserve ice-time. You will also need to arrange for a supervisor at the rink to answer your questions during the rental period.

The Center Ice Cafe at the University of Illinois Ice Arena is open to the public. The cafe is situated adjacent to Customer Service Office. You can also find an Ice Arena Pro Shop that stocks many skating and hockey accessories.

Gas leak at UI Ice Arena
After a gas leaking from its ice arena, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign issued an Illini-Alert. The building was evacuated at 406 E. Armory Ave. after Ameren Illinois crews discovered a leak. To stop further contamination, firefighters closed a sideway that leads to the arena. The leak is believed to have originated from beneath the building.
