TDI Extended Rang is a specialty course intended for divers who do not have easy access to Trimix. It emphasizes the importance of solid procedures, skill improvement, and diver response in difficult situations. Students will be able to safely dive in Extended Range environments and use up to two decompression chemicals. TDI Extended Range training divers can be done with nitrox or air.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens many doors to new dive locations. This certification allows divers to enjoy more bottom time and can be extended to up to 60m/200ft. The Extended Range course is also available in eLearning form. TDI eLearning allows you to complete the course online if you are unable or unwilling to go to a local dive center. This course will teach you all about the benefits of extended range diving.
The Extended Range course allows you to dive in more challenging areas and reduce your nitrogen narcosis. You will be able to plan and execute stage dives with up to two stage bottle and enriched oxygen. The Extended Range course may also be combined with TDI Trimix Diver Certification.
TDI Trimix training is designed to prepare you for advanced and safe diving. TDI Trimix training emphasizes skill development and safety, as problems at this depth must be dealt with quickly. Divers must be familiar with the procedures and feel comfortable using them.
